Megan Lewis
Trade Compliance Consultant
Megan Lewis founded South East Trade Compliance Services after more than 19 years working in customs brokerage, imports and trade compliance for importers across the United States. She saw firsthand how small businesses were left to navigate complex regulations on their own; often making costly mistakes that a little expert guidance could have prevented.
A Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Zone Specialist, Megan built this firm specifically to serve the businesses that need compliance help the most: small importers and mid-sized businesses, e-commerce sellers, and entrepreneurs who are serious about doing things right but don't have the resources of a Fortune 500 company.
Based in Savannah, one of the busiest import hubs in the United States, she brings solid regional knowledge of the Port of Savannah, Charleston, Jacksonville and also Chicago, Los Angeles/Long Beach and Detroit. Megan also has access to a network of trusted customs brokers, freight forwarders, and trade attorneys.
